Hello there!

Rescue Story: One Sunday afternoon, we decided to go to the Atlanta Humane Society as we were considering rescuing a dog soon. We saw Alli on the website and found it surprising that she had been in the shelter for more than 30 days, given her extreme cuteness. When we met Alli we were immediately drawn in to her wide smile and hyper spirit. While we both fell in love with her, we were nervous about having a dog her size in our small apartment, and decided we needed to wait to adopt. Leaving without her that day, we both could not stop thinking about that infectious spirit and bright smile. We woke up the next morning in agreement that we had to have this pup in our family. We rushed back to the shelter as soon as we got off work and adopted our Alli Gator. Life has never been the same since.

Alli came home on Scott’s birthday!

What is your favorite pastime as a family? We love to go to any and all dog parks and watch Alli run around with all of her dog friends. Alli has never met a stranger and gives the most enticing play bow to every pup she meets. We also love playing fetch and watching Alli zoom around the yard when we get home from work.

What is life like since you rescued Alli? Life with our Alli girl has been nothing but joy and love. We are blown away by how quickly she stole our hearts and she is what we both look forward to when coming home from work. We have watched Alli learn tricks and positive behaviors, put on almost 10 pounds post shelter time, and get to meet an unending number of pups and humans to play with and love on as she receives endless love in return.

Photographers Note: Alli has such an amazing spirit. Just as it’s mentioned above she is very happy to meet new people and is just as sweet as she can be! She had a good ole’ time racing around her huge backyard showing off her jumping skills, stick chase, gather and chew skills and even did a couple flying leaps off the deck to show her aerodynamic abilities! You can’t help but smile when you are around her and just look at that gorgeous dark brindle coat she is sporting! After all that activity I was even given a nice escort to the door, with a quick kiss goodbye!
