What makes Buzz unique? He has this sense of when you need some loving; he will walk up and bury his head in your lap to that you know he is there. He just cherishes the ground you walk on and wants to be a part of anything you have going on.
A hint as to how he got his name.
Rescue Story: We came across Buzz (fka Deets) at Dekalb County Animal Services and instantly fell in love with his ears. The minute he stepped outside for a meet and greet, he was just READY to play with a little tennis ball. We were told he was a stray and we didn’t believe he was alone for long because he is so well mannered. It didn’t take us long to come to a conclusion that we needed to take the sweet boy home and spoil him.

What is your favorite pastime as a family? We love to cuddle and lay around. Buzz loves to climb on top of you and sleep as if he doesn’t weigh 56 pounds. He gets a monthly Bark Box so his favorite toys are whatever the new toys are. He will occasionally want a little challenge and bring his ropes out.
What is life like since you rescued Buzz? Buzz has definitely made this crazy year a little more interesting. He helps us forget about everything wrong in the world and reminds us that greater things are to come. Rescuing him and giving him a comfortable /safe home has made us better people. Our little guy has been a great addition to our family and we are excited to watch him evolve even more.
Photographers Notes: When your volunteers are decked out in Georgia Tech gear and want Buzz to have his photos with his favorite GT football, the light bulb goes off on where he got his name. For those who don’t know, Buzz (the yellow jacket, not the dog :)) is the official mascot of the Georgia Institute of Technology. On top of that, Synjyn played football for Tech as well. So it’s all coming together….Ha!
We had a beautiful day for the shoot and Buzz even got to have an audience from one of the workers in the office building behind our shooting location. Clearly you can see this sweet boy loves to ham it up for the camera & yes let’s not forget those fantastic ears!
