What makes Violet unique? The brown marking on her head – looks like she wiggled and the machine messed up the straight line and it created a round spot & her little pink nose. She’s the perfect combination of playful and cuddly.

Rescue Story: I saw her little mugshot on the Cobb County Animal Control facebook page on a Saturday night and I instantly fell in love. She was brought in as a stray and had puppies at some point. I told myself I didn’t need another dog, but if she was there on Tuesday when they opened, I would at least go meet her (famous last words). Of course she was there and I went to see her right after work. She came bouncing into the room, ran right to me and sat on my lap. She was running and playing, but always coming back to me to say hi. 10 minutes later I was signing her adoption papers and bringing her home.

What is your favorite pastime as a family? We go to Silver Comet Trail all the time. I love taking her on long walks and hikes when it’s nice outside. She’s small and it’s easy to bring her with me to dog friendly places… she’s like a tiny best friend. LOL
What is life like since you rescued Violet? She is such a positive energy and always full of love. I’d say she brings more happiness into the home and she’s obviously as spoiled as can be.

When she first adopted Violet she still had Nala as well as her other dog Blue. Sadly Jaklyn had to say goodbye to both Nala & Blue within a very short time period. So after we finished our photo shoot I suggested we go out and get a drink to toast Nala & Blue, so that’s what we did.
Now as for that sassy little girl Violet, I was so close to hiding her in my camera bag and bringing her home. She is just an adorable compact muscly bundle of love. She was so excited to be out on this new adventure with all the people and dogs; all while taking to the model life pretty well! I am so happy that Jaklyn has this sweet girl to ease the pain of losing her two other babies. I mean how can you not smile when you see that face!
