Stella on the move…..

Rescue Story: I was laying in bed one night looking at pet finder emails. I saw Mama Clem (fka Heidi) with her babies and it was love at first site. We just lost one of our cats so I decided we had room for another animal. I’ve always wanted a bigger dog so I sent the rescue (Rescue Me GA) an email that night. I got a response in 5 minutes at 10:00 pm! They said adoption day would be the next afternoon so I quickly nudged my sleeping husband and said that I would be coming home with this baby tomorrow night. Of course, he agreed! I went after work and adopted her. Everyone was so excited when I got home!

Little Stella heading to her forever home!

What is your favorite pastime as a family? I love watching her play with my son. He laughs and laughs and laughs.

What is life like since you rescued Stella? Life is crazy with 5 animals and a 5 year old son! We’ve always had a ton of animals. She won’t be our last! I will say, 5 is probably our max for now.

Photographers Note: This is my Clementine’s 2nd baby we have featured. (only 6 more to go :) ) This was actually a really special day for me, because after my photo shoot with this wonderful family, there was a birthday party for the puppies who all turned 1 on July 7th. Not all the puppies could make it, but for the ones that could…. once they all got acclimated, it was ON. Non-stop play and fun!! Unfortunately Mama Clem had to stay home because she was healing from her TPLO surgery. Had she attended pretty sure these pups would have tuckered her out after the first 20m. Photo evidence below, which you can see from the haphazard shots, it was constant blue pibble motion. Such a great day for these pups and was such a pleasure to meet more of the wonderful families that have given Clementine’s babies such wonderful homes.
