What makes each dog unique?
Morti is most chill dog I have ever met! Brody is the biggest Daddy’s boy & Rory is princess with attitude.
Rescue Stories: Mortimer: I was looking for a new foster and saw Mortimer’s (then known as Cheeseburger) picture and details on FB. I went in to meet him, brought him home, and was in love immediately. He had rescue commitment so the shelter had to get permission from them for me to foster fail/adopt him.
Brody: June 2015 I was single and had just finished a work project that had me travelling for months. I knew once I was done that I wanted to get a dog. I contacted the shelter and Brody was their office dog at the time. I fell in love with his picture, I met him a few days later and it was a match!
Rory: We had another pittie who sadly passed away after only 3 months of being with us, it left a hole in our hearts. I saw a video a few weeks later on Halloween night in 2017 of Rory trick or treating at the shelter and fell in love! I went to meet her the next morning and took her home that day.
What is your favorite pastime as a family? We love dressing them all up in their pj’s and having pittie pj parties!
What is life like since you rescued these three? Amazing! Rowdy! Priceless!
Social Media: Mortimer has his own Instagram account: @the_grumpy_potato
Photographers Note: I always love a multi-dog photo shoot and this one was no exception. It’s always a little chaotic and you get to see how the dogs interact with each and the different personalities. Of course my challenge and holy grail is to successful get all the pibbles into one bowtie shot. We werent sure if it was going to work this time but then all of the sudden all three dogs just fell into place. Not the best option to have the largest dog in the front, but you take what you can get when the stars align.
A little side note on this family, they are good friends with the foster of our latest addition Clementine. Clem has spent time with them and even participated in a pittie pajama party or two. There is even some talk that Morti and Clementine may be an item! ;)
