5 words/phrases that best describe Finn?

  1. Goofy

  2. Cuddlebug

  3. Playful

  4. Loving

  5. Friendly

What makes Finn unique? His ears! Also he loves to do morning stretchies where he will let out very audible yawns. Sometimes his top lip gets stuck behind his bottom teeth and he looks hilarious.

Happiest Boy!

Rescue Story: I saw Finn’s (then Dolphin) picture on the Lifeline foster parents page and decided that I needed to meet him! Something about his photos and description just stole my heart. I have fostered in the past, and recently lost my foster fail cat to health complications back in April. Finn has been a welcome addition to the family & helped us to heal after the loss of our cat.

The shelter does not know much about Finn’s past prior to coming to the shelter- he was originally at Fulton County Animal Services and due to a persistent limp he was transferred to Lifeline Community Animal Center for observation. They loved him so much that the staff at CAC begged to keep him as he was so well mannered and friendly. He then became the resident playgroup Rockstar. He was adopted & returned 3 times (for no fault of his own- the adopters changed their mind or did not feel like a dog fit their lifestyle). Whatever his past prior to the shelter was, despite his scars he has a lot of love to give and was perfectly house trained and well mannered. Due to his fan club at the shelter and their hard work to get the word out about him- he was able to come home with me just before he needed his final push of heartworm treatment – and we absolutely fell in love with his goofy personality, friendly attitude to all dogs and people, and desire to be a snuggly lapdog despite his 65 pound self.

The peaceful sleep of a forever home!

What is your favorite pastime as a family? We love to play- he loves to play with his stuffed monkey & do zoomies around the house and yard. Also love a good snuggle on the couch & we are taking more adventures now that he can get more exercise post HW treatment. He loves to hop in the car & see new places/meet new people!

What is life like since you rescued Finn? Life has been great so far! He is settling in nicely. He goes to Frogs2Dogs once a week currently for day camp & will start going to more nonstructured/play time daycare soon! He’s been soaking up all the love and snuggles he can get and loves going on his walks. It’s been great to see him get more comfortable and settle in his home.

Photographers Note: There is nothing else to talk about here besides Finn’s ears. Yes, he was a very good boy, so happy and joyous playing with his stuffed frog (unfortunately all of those photos were a blur due to the exuberance of which he played); not to mention an excellent poser & checked in with me often for kisses and pats. But those ears, he really has the ability to look like two completely different dogs depending on which way the ears happen to be going. Pretty much every action shot I had two identical photos, with the exception of the ears, one they would be up the other down. He is the only volunteer where I chose two bowtie shots for the side by side comparison (see below). I mean seriously this adorable boy may have a future in doggie modeling with his ability to transform into different looks so easily! 😆
