Rescue Story: Jazmine was found with a single puppy, animal control was convinced she was aggressive and the rescue (One Love Rescue) took a chance on her. Her puppy was adopted and she had no interest for 7 months. I saw her video and fell in love. She was scared of most things in general and didn't show us any interest when we met her but we wanted to take a chance on her. She has become the kindest soul you would ever know and she makes our life complete.
What is your favorite pastime as a family? She loves to run around and roll in the sand at the beach.
What is life like since you rescued Jazmine? Our life feels so complete now that she's a member of our family. She opens up more every day and is so loving and sweet. Something about her makes the cats want to lay with her and cuddle her.
Photographers Note: At first Jazmine wasn’t so sure of the camera, I mean who can blame her? That big scary lens pointed at you and it makes a clicking sound. What is that thing?? However once we moved over to a nice little grassy area, the true Jazmine came out. She raced around and then would dive into these epic rolls in the grass. Just as happy as could be! Then she would jump up again and do it all over again ….over and over. She seem to forget the camera and was happy to come right up to me, even with it in my hand. The funny part was her brother Eli saw all the attention she was getting with this rolling thing and decided to try it out for himself, not something he had done before! LOL (see below).
I love that Kristina & Rachel took a chance on this girl. Many people go to meet a dog at a rescue or shelter and hope for this immediate connection. Sometimes these babies are so traumatized it takes them a bit to decompress before they can trust and build that bond with their family. Patience always wins out and I am so happy Jazmine is in such a loving home!
